Is it really completely free?
Yes. Zero cost for qualifying individuals. No hidden fees, no "donations required," no upsell. If you qualify, the service is free. Period. We fund this through our paid commercial clients and voluntary community support.
How do I prove I qualify?
You don't need documents. Just tell us your situation when you book or walk in. We operate on trust. The RGV community takes care of each other — we're not going to interrogate you.
What if my problem takes longer than an hour?
We'll be upfront with you. If it's a quick fix, we handle it on the spot. If it needs more time or parts, we'll explain exactly what's needed and give you options — including referrals if we can't handle it for free.
Can you fix my computer remotely?
Sometimes yes. For certain software issues, we can connect remotely using tools like AnyDesk. Call us first and we'll determine if your issue can be handled that way — saving you a trip.
Do you help with phones and tablets too?
Yes — iPhone, Android, iPad, tablets, all of it. Locked accounts, app issues, software problems, setup help. Bring it in and we'll take a look.
What if I just want to learn — not fix something?
That's exactly what the Second Chances Initiative is for. We offer free tech and cybersecurity education for veterans and youth in the RGV. Contact us and we'll get you enrolled in the next session.
